About us

We are now looking for summer substitutes who can work in the summer of 2026 at our HVB operations in Älvkarleby. We have two units in Älvkarleby, K-Rehab Alpha and Alvina. The target group is adults with substance abuse issues and mental health problems. Alpha targets men, while Alvina accommodates women. The clients are referred by social services, LVM homes, or adult psychiatry. The method is based on CBT and the working approach is team-based. Collaboration with doctors, psychologists, nurses, social workers, therapists, and the treatment team is part of the daily work.

As a summer substitute, you will help cover for regular staff during their vacation and during temporary increased staffing needs.

Work at the units includes day, evening, and weekend shifts, as well as on-call night shifts.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with previous experience working with people in difficult life situations, who is calm and balanced with a focus on the client's well-being. You are solution-oriented, organized, and responsible. You have a positive outlook, are stress-resistant, and have good conditions to work in a sometimes tough psychosocial work environment. To thrive and succeed in this role, we see that you have an easy time building relationships, possess good collaboration skills, and have a very good ability to set boundaries in client work.

The work involves close and trusting collaboration with your colleagues, so you must have good communication and teamwork skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. A background check will be conducted before employment.

Requirements to apply for the position:

• Social educator, social worker, or treatment educator.

• Experience in treatment work

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• Good computer skills as documentation is extensive

• Driver's license (B)
